Puppy Placement Questionnaire and Warranty

The 90-year old RIN TIN TIN bloodline is considered to be one of the oldest continuous bloodlines in the history of the German Shepherd Dog. The worldwide recognition and respect of the RIN TIN TIN lineage has been accomplished through an extremely strict, and meticulously maintained closed breeding program developed to consistently produce dogs who are identical replicas of their famed forefathers.

The unequaled breeding program was organized originally by Lee Duncan beginning in 1918 and then carefully maintained, according to his criteria, by Jannettia Brodsgaard Propps until 1988 when the Legacy was transferred to her granddaughter, Miss Daphne Hereford, who continues the impeccable lineage today. Under Miss Hereford's direction, RIN TIN TIN continues to produce not only superior working dogs, but exemplary pets as well.

To ensure that the integrity of the lineage is maintained appropriately, all progeny from the RIN TIN TIN lineage will be placed in homes Only on a pet-non-breeding basis. All progeny must be spayed or neutered.

All RIN TIN TIN progeny are guaranteed to OFA Certify hips and elbows. All breeding dogs are either OFA or OVC certified H&E.

All puppies are initially temperament/trainability tested at 7 weeks to insure placement in the proper home. Search & Rescue, Anti-Drug, Obedience and Performance Homes are given special consideration.

Females in the RIN TIN TIN breeding program produce only 3 litters during their tenure and are retired from the breeding program at 5 years of age.

Warranty

All RIN TIN TIN German Shepherds are guaranteed to qualify for certification for both Hips and Elbows with either Orthopedic Foundation For Animals (OFA) or Ontario Veterinary College (OVC).

Should Hip or Elbow Dysplasia be diagnosed which would prevent OFA or OVC certification (OFA-24 Months/ OVC 18 Months), at the descretion of RIN TIN TIN incorporated, the RIN TIN TIN German Shepherd will be replaced from a subsequent litter or a substantial refund will be issued to the purchaser/owner.

Studies indicate that Hip Dysplasia can occur as a result of improper nutrition and exercise. All RIN TIN TIN German Shepherds must be fed the diet recommended by RIN TIN TIN incorporated and maintained according to RIN TIN TIN criteria to validate this Warranty

Puppy Placement Questionnaire

To insure that each Rin Tin Tin puppy is placed in the appropriate home, we require each prospective family to complete the RIN TIN TIN Puppy Placement Questionnaire.

Pet non-breeding puppies are offered occasionally to approved homes

$2,500 - $3,500
