Is pleased to introduce his Trainer
Debra Hnath

Debra Hnath, a Certified Public Accountant began training dogs in 1976 with a Norwegian Elkhound. She obtained her first German Shepherd Dog in 1982. She joined Search and Rescue Dogs of Oklahoma (SARDOK) in 1993. In 1994 she became the Secretary/Treasure of SARDOK.

In April 1995 she certified her first search and rescue dog, Mickey a 1-½ year old German Shepherd Dog. Mickey worked in the recovery efforts after the Oklahoma City Bombing with John Hnath. Debra and Mickey helped in the location of missing persons after the Oklahoma City Tornadoes. She and Mickey have worked with many law enforcement agencies including Tulsa Police Department, OSBI, FBI, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police and many other agencies. Mickey passed away July 31, 2006 at the age of nearly 13.

Mrs. Hnath has trained and certified a cadaver dog, Sage, a coated German shepherd, a live find dog, Caya, a German Shepherd and a dual purpose dog, Mickey, also a German Shepherd Dog.

She is the official trainer of Rin Tin Tin. She is also training his little brother Rin Tin Tin’s Lord Solomon for the obedience ring.

She is a member of the National Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team and the Texas DMORT. She was part of a group activated to help in the recovery and identification of victims at the World Trade Center in New York City after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

As part of the Rin Tin Tin commitment to community service, Mrs. Hnath is also a volunteer beginning obedience instructor at Tulsa Dog Training Club, helping people achieve a better relationship with their canine companions.

She is also a member of the Indian Nations Tracking Club.
